Reverend Glenn Sokolowski
Pastor Glenn completed his Master of Divinity degree attending the Institute of Lutheran Theology located in Brookings, South Dakota. Glenn’s internship began at Bethel Lutheran Church in Hawkins, WI, and Bethany Lutheran Church in Catawba, WI. After completing the last six months of internship at Saint John Lutheran Church in Phillips, Wisconsin, the congregation called him to be their pastor. He was ordained at his home church, Hope Lutheran Church, in Ladysmith, WI
on November 29, 2016. Pastor Glenn was called to Cross Lutheran Church in the Fall of 2019.
Glenn is married to LuAnne and they have called Ladysmith, Wisconsin home for the past 27 years. They are blessed with a family of five children: Janelle, Michael, Alison, Mark, and Aaron. They are also blessed with twelve grandchildren: Preston, Hunter, Steven, Paige, Mason, Travis, Taylor, June, Margot, Olive, Charlotte, and Poppy.
Karen Kunisch graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School in Sebewaing Michigan in 1975. Since then she has worked for Active Industries in Sebewaing, Thrivent Financial, Mutual Savings, and Independent Bank.
Beth Elston earned a B.A. and a Lutheran Teaching Diploma from Concordia College, Ann Arbor, Michigan with a major in music. She also earned an Elementary Education Endorsement through graduate work at Saginaw Valley State University.
Beth is a published composer, having several handbell arrangements in the catalog of Lorenz Publishing Company and a choral piece published by Choristers Guild.
